LandlordLate is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. This site shows general information about state law. It is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. Using the site does not create an attorney-client relationship. Nobody at LandlordLate reviews your situation. If you need advice about your own case, talk to an attorney or a local tenant organization.
What the checker does
The checker applies each state's published deadline rules to the dates you enter and shows the statute's text. It does not know your lease, what your landlord sent, or other facts that may change the answer. Laws change and courts interpret them; we check the rules against the statute text and show the date we last did so, but we do not promise they are complete, current or right for your situation.
The early-access list
Joining the list is free. We do not take payment and you are not buying anything. The service and its price may change before it opens. If it opens in your state, we will email you; you can then decide whether to use it.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no automated scraping that degrades it, no attempts to break its security, no false sign-ups.
Liability
The site is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, MaxPro LLC is not liable for decisions you make based on it.
